Ever wonder what happens your if propane tank goes through a wildland fire. Here is just one of our tanks that went through the Sheep Fire. As you can see here that tank did not explode like many people may believe will happen but instead the pressure release valve blew like it was intended to, to released the fuel within. Yes, it can sound like an explosion when it does happen but it’s just the valve popping to prevent the tank from actually exploding.
