Congratulations! Zaira Armendáriz, La Sierra University 2020 alumnus, has released her senior thesis film, Under My Skin. In the short time that it has been out it has already won several awards.

LaSierra Film students helping on the set of "Stupid Money," the show about money and the stupid things we sometimes do with it. Taping on 'RED' cameras right here on campus with students working alongside media professionals learning all the ins and outs of a multi-camera television production.

Congratulations to our seven graduates this year! Professors Rodney Vance and Carrie Specht saw Zaira, Brendon, Oti, and Azu at the drive-through graduation, while Chris, DeShields, and Malakie have also finished this year. We wish them the best as they continue their filmmaking journies!

Professional cinematographer Patrick Cady (Bosch, Suits, Fear the Walking Dead) has a zoom mentoring meeting with Film & TV major Laura Cruz and Professor Carrie Specht.

Congratulations to Brendon Wilson for winning the Film Department’s Outstanding Senior Award!

Proud of our students Brendon Wilson, Vester Banner, and Azucena Chavez for succeeding in film competitions! Brendon won the Jury Award at this year's Sonscreen Film Festival while Vester and Azu were honorable mentions in the county's highly competitive Directing Change contest. Congratulations to them and their crew!
