I thought of many things to write with this post, but in restrospect, I'm just happy this wedding happened when it did. If it had been two weeks later, it would have been cancelled. A+B are the sweetest couple, and while the day was absolutely freezing , with 20+mph wind to boot, there were so many wonderful, special moments that will be remembered. I'm so excited to be sharing my first wedding of 2020! This last week (as I'm sure everyone else is experiencing) wasn't so great. But this couple was the sweetest! We did a lot of long distance planning, as they don't live in the state, for an absolutely beautiful wedding that included my first ever father-daughter duet dance. I love being a part of these special moments, and I'm looking forward to this quarantine ending so I can get back to what I do best

Sharing one of our favorite weddings from last year (yes, I have a lot of favorite weddings from last year ). I'm sharing the groom's photos first in stories today - I don't often share the groom's photos, but these men were an absolute blast to photograph. They all had custom @jackdaniels_us bottles, which we just had to include for some goofy moments.

A few days ago, I asked if there were any photos you wanted to see - and I got quite a few responses! One of our brides (you can see her photos in our stories today), had a set of dream photos she wanted to have at her wedding, involving a car. So I made today's topic about your rides . It was quite hard finding some of these photos, and there's photos I know I have, and so bummed I didn't find them to share with you. If you feel I'm missing something great, tag me and I'll reshare

I recently saw this pop up in memories, and thought it was too good not to share. Years ago, I photographed their high school senior photos, and some years later, each one of their weddings. When one sister said she wanted to wear her wedding dress again with just her sisters, I was ready with my We had so much fun strolling around Cannery Row. I hope I get to do this again one day! Who else wants to do this?

I decided to try a location I haven't used in over 20 years, and I think it's pretty awesome! It was a foggy day, and my great couple was having a blast, so I gave it a go. I think I'll have to come here again.

So excited to be back at Asilomar Conference Grounds for a wedding this weekend! Every time I've been there, the weather has been completely different, so I'm excited for the possibilities.

I had so much fun photographing all of our recent family photos, and I never shared any! These two boys kept me on my toes the entire session. When you have a young family, running here and there is just part of the experience. This was a candid moment I so enjoyed. Were they looking at seagulls or something else?

#tbt to the end of summer and this gorgeous wedding! When I have so many beautiful details in one photo, I love to slow down a bit and enjoy the moment. Handsome man, beautiful woman, ornate dress, and flowing curls - everything was just perfect!

Not old enough to be technically vintage, but this was one of the last weddings I photographed on film in the late 2000s. This photo hung on my gallery wall for years, and was always a favorite.
