Celebrating our March Membership Milestones!

It's no surprise to any of us, but this year our 8th annual La Quinta Patriot Day will have a different look. While the look of the event may be different, the need to continue to support our military families is still great. Thanks to each of you, over the past 7 years, the Members of La Quinta CC have contributed over $1.5 million to the Folds of Honor Foundation; supporting educational scholarships for the children and spouses of our fallen and seriously wounded military ...men and women that support our freedom. Unfortunately this year we will not be hosting the dinners, but we are expanding the golf tournament with food and activities on the golf course. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 9th with tee times beginning at 11:00 AM off #1 and #10 tee. Recognizing the current environment, we will not be playing alongside the PGA Pro’s as we have in previous years. This decision was made respecting the health and safety of the membership and the staff.

Due to the continued surge of the COVID-19 pandemic and the existing Stay At Home Order in place, the PGA Tour announced that the amateur participation has been cancelled for this year’s American Express tournament. The tournament's format has also changed and the event will only be held on the two PGA West golf courses; our Club's participation has been suspended for this year. We will be following the tournament coverage and cheering on the players who have walked our course just as we have over the past 53 years. Good luck boys and we will see you next year!
