Kinfolk, It's now official! 6445 University, on the front entrance of the Rolando Plaza Shopping Center, is the new 'coop ' and home of Red Rooster Catfish. We're looking forward to commencing the build-out process so we can get back to serving the absolute best catfish, tiger shrimp, frog legs, and oysters to our San Diego kinfolk.... We're finishing up the legal details, but our new 1800 sf location will be 6445 University Avenue. Next steps will include working with our contracting partners in building out the space where it will be comfortable for our Red Rooster Catfish family.... A big "crow out" goes to Coronado Brewing Company for the Idiot IPA. Not on our beer list now, but considering the taste, flavor and 8.5% 'alcohol boom', it gets an HRIC honorable mention. Another So Cal creation...Idiot IPA

Update: Kinfolk, between lease negotiations, building contractors, farm raised catfish distributors, equipment specialists, beer meisters, vino lovers and new friends, I'm happy to announce that Red Rooster Catfish is moving positively in the direction of opening our new location.
