We are sad to learn of the passing of Martin Wachs, Distinguished Professor Emeritus and founder of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies. Professor Wachs was a preeminent figure in transportation planning with a drive to advance the field. It is still important to get tested if you have symptoms of the COVID-19 virus. The good news is that appointments are no longer required to get tested at City of LA sites! You can visit any City of LA walk-up, drive-through, or mobile site, Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The Union Station site is also open on Sundays. Testing remains free of charge for everyone.
