Help Lake Murray Kiwanis support Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. We will be collecting donations at the corner of Lake Murray and Baltimore June 22 from 6:30am- 9:00am. Come fill our red shoe!

The Lake Murray Kiwanis Club made 50 stockings to send to our military personal stationed overseas. Our sponsored youth Boy Scout Troop 950 assisted by filling the stockings with toothbrushes, tooth paste, deodorant, soaps, shampoos, snacks, candies and other goodies..This is one of our projects to support those who serve our country and keep us all safe at home. To celebrate voting day, the Lake Murray Kiwanian Dan got up early and put up American flags in the neighborhood. Thanks! Remember to vote!

November 5, 2016 a joint community service project was held at Mission Trails Regional Park. Kiwanis clubs of Fletcher Hills, Lake Murray and La Mesa joined forces with Boy Scout Troop 950 and local Key Clubs and Circle K club. We cleared the walking trail on the Northern most end of Lake Murray Blvd and Mesa Rd. Mission Trails Regional Park is a jewel in the community and we were honored to complete this project to keep the trails clear and safe for all. The photo is most Of the volunteers, we did miss a few.

It's the start of a new year for our Kiwanis Club! Tonight we threw a party to retire the old club board and install the new leaders for our intrepid group. Looking forward to an awesome new year!

The folks at Lake Murray Kiwanis are at it again! Celebrating the back to school season, we've stuffed 32 backpacks with the school essentials in order to enable needy children in our community to have a successful school year!

It is with great sadness that I post the loss of a truly great past Kiwanian. Charlie Westermier passed away, his services will be held at Our Lady of Grace on January 18,2019 at 11am. Everyone loved Charlie and he was the constant prankster, always making us laugh! Rest in peace our dear friend and fellow Kiwanian. You are missed!

It's that time again...September 8th is our Twilight Tasting event at Mission Trails Park, visitor center. Event times are 6:30 to 9:00pm. Lots of beer, wine and food vendors on hand to provide tastings of their products. Cost is $45 per person and nobody under 21 is permitted. Tickets will not be sold at the door, if you are interested in attending email us at lmkcsd64@gmail,com or phone 619-212-9132 and someone will respond. Limited ticket sales, only 200 will be sold so act quickly.
