The Women's Club Holiday Boutique was a success! Sharon Morgan and the rest of the Women's Club extends their thanks to the vendors who participated and those who attended. :-)

Crews will remove dead trees, stumps and roots in Serrano Creek Park starting Monday, November 16. Thinning of the trees and brush will improve the overall heal...th and landscaping of the area. The work will last through November. For the duration of the project, large portions of the park will be closed depending on the location of the cutting work. See more

Food Collection Event - This Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall, 100 Civic Center Dr. This is a drop and go event; all food items need to ...be placed in the trunk of your vehicle. Please remain in your vehicle while staff unloads the food. Most needed items include bags of rice, canned chicken or tuna, canned vegetables, pasta sauce, dried pasta, peanut butter, cereal, baby wipes, canned beans, and canned fruit. Setting up the new outdoor exercise area! We have a treadmill, an elliptical, a stair climber, 2 bikes, the rowing machine, dumbbells, a bench, the dip machine, and some small miscellaneous equipment. We intend to add some more shade as it does get sunny. This area is on schedule to open by reservation this Thursday. https://conta.cc/37lIf6G In case you missed it, this is the email sent out today with information about opening and reservations. We got a lot of questions about the pool reservations.... There will be a portion of the diving pool (1/3) separated for camp between 1:00 and 2:15. That will be the only part sectioned off. We are allowing 12 members per timeslot. The reservations include up to four people, but a household of any size is welcome. We just ask that you let us know if you have more than four so we can adjust the reservations to stay under capacity. The Lap Pool is available for 2 swimmers from the same household to share a lane between 1:15 and 3:30. The rest of the day it is one swimmer per lane. The Exercise Pool has a current capacity of 12, but we will assess this week and adjust upwards if safe to do so. Reservations are available 72 hours in advance. The reservation software does not let you book more than 72 hours out, so reservations will become available through the day. As this is the first time we’ve had to use a reservation system, we will be learning and improving this week. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Stay tuned for an email update Friday regarding reopening! We have gotten good news from the State and are just waiting for the County Medical Director to sign off and release guidelines. The email on Friday will have dates and reservation information for those amenities reopening first. The Club will look a little different! We are excited to see you again!

Thank you Lake Forest Mayor Neeki Moetazedi and 25 other local Mayors for this letter to the Orange County Health Care Agency. The Lake Forest II Board of Directors sent a letter about reopening pools to the County and State as well. We are hopeful we will be permitted to open soon!

The crew has been busy this week with landscape projects to improve drainage around the grounds, window cleaning, park and paseo improvements in the tracts, trimming bushes and small trees, and re-painting parking lot markings. We hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

The Maintenance crew has been hard at work beautifying the facility. From repairs, to painting, to landscape improvements...they are busy. The lower tennis courts are newly resurfaced and community projects are ongoing. Stay well everyone!

The Maintenance Department is hard at work! They are prepping and painting the fences around the Clubhouse. They are assisting with the renovation of the Forest Creek paseos. Maintenance is catching up on landscaping with the sun shining. Also, the lower tennis courts are getting resurfaced while we are closed.

Per the Lake Forest II Board of Directors, the Club and all amenities will be closed beginning March 17th to protect our members and reduce the risk of community spread of the Corona virus. 3/14/20 Update: The Lake Forest II offices will be closed Monday, March 16th. This includes Accounting, CC&R, Community Services, and the MAC Desk. The Clubhouse common areas will be closed as well. Although the outdoor areas and gym are open, no daily guest passes will be issued, and entry will be restricted should areas become too crowded. We will update you when a decision is made about the rest the week/month. Staff is available by phone and email, please contact us if you need assistance. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and cooperation as we all navigate this challenging time and attempt to keep our members and our staff safe and healthy.

Lake Forest II Homeowners: In an effort to keep as many amenities available as possible, we have taken many steps, including (but not limited to!) the following: 1. The Locker Rooms and Sauna are closed. 2. We are limiting the number of Gym Cards issued at any given time to 15.... 3. We will not be issuing Daily Guest Passes. 4. Staff will not be booking any Banquet Room Rentals or Outdoor Parties for March or April. 5. Sun & Sail Events in March have been cancelled, and we are evaluating those in April. We are trying to keep The Clubhouse open, but we are evaluating hour by hour. The Sun & Sail Women's Club, out of an abundance of caution and in response to homeowner concerns, has decided to postpone the St. Patrick's Dinner Dance this Saturday to a future date. Tickets credit can be used toward a future Women's Club event, or payments can be refunded. The Women's Club volunteers will be in touch with those who purchased tickets.

Staff has received many complaints of members not wiping the equipment after use in the gym. Please use your hand towel on the equipment and use disinfectant spray or wipes on surfaces you make contact with or sweat on. Let’s do our part to keep everyone healthy!

Worried about the Flu and COVID-19? We are disinfecting all door hardware, countertops, fixtures, fitness center surfaces, locker rooms, and other possible areas of transmission every morning. Heavily traveled or touched areas will be cleaned throughout the day. Please help us by washing your hands frequently, and using the disinfectant wipes in the Fitness Center. We have lots of Purell around the Clubhouse - feel free to use it! And although we love to see you, please stay home if you are sick.

Sun & Sail Club Locker Rooms will be closed tomorrow, February 28, until around 2:00 p.m. for pipe repair. The Lobby, Banquet Room, and poolside restrooms will remain open. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I can’t imagine a better way to spend Valentine’s Day!! Thank you to everyone who attended Comedy Night and to the three comedians that made this an amazing way to spend the evening!

40 years! Can you believe it? Some of you will recognize Frank with his smiling face and cheery disposition. Frank just celebrated his 40th anniversary at the Sun and Sail Club! Frank makes every day brighter and we appreciate him and his 40 years of service.

Great drink prices and some awesome raffle prizes! This is the best (and closest) party in town!

The SPA is closed until further notice due to a valve malfunction that is preventing the heater from functioning. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding on this matter. We hope to have it fixed quickly, and will update tomorrow.

Just a reminder that the Sun & Sail Club will be closed on Thanksgiving. The offices will remain closed on Friday, although the Clubhouse will be open. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday!
