MARK SHERMAN'S WATERCOLORS ARE ON DISPLAY from August 1 to October 1 at the La Jolla Community Center, 6811 La Jolla Blvd. Look for me in the Las Patronas Roo...m Welcome to the RECEPTION: Thursday, August 5, 5:30 - 7:30 Snacks and refreshments will be served. My exhibit, WATERCOLOR WORLD, consists of 15 paintings that are based on photos I had taken while traveling everywhere from Ecuador to Viet Nam and exotic places between. Five other local artists will also have their very creative work on display. Please email: [email protected] if you think you might be able to attend the reception so that I can pre-register you on the guest list - OR - you can pre-register yourself on the website (see below) under "CALENDAR" and down to [email protected] Click below "Contact Us" to connect. If you have not pre-registered, you can still be a "walk-in" a the reception. This is a summary of the LJCC COVID protocols which can also be found on the website: www.ljcommunitycenter.org. 1. Guests must have proof of vaccination or of a negative Covid test no older than 72 hours. 2. If a guest has proof of vaccination then they may remove the mask when eating or in the courtyard, but at other times they must wear the mask. 3. If a guest has NO proof of vaccination when they arrive then they MUST wear a mask CONTINUALLY; NO EATING OR DRINKING ALLOWED. 4. 15-minute Covid tests may be available for those not having vaccination proof. Talk to the staff member at the door about subsequent need for mask.
