These last couple of months have been busy ones - We have been redoing the building's electrical service and our brewing equipment has arrived! We are working hard to complete the production area so we can get all of this wonderful steel hooked up. There is light at the end of this long tunnel and it is getting brighter! Pardon the dust. Our old concrete slab just wasn’t going to cut it for all the fresh beer we’ll be brewing here so we are putting in a new one! Sloped floor, slot drains and rated to hold our current as well as our future fermentation tanks. This baby will be the foundation on which all the magic happens. BREWERY UPDATE Huge news! We had our public hearing this evening with the Norwalk City Planning Commission and the Conditional Use Permit for our tasting room was APPROVED This is a huge milestone and allows us to proceed with our project as we have been envisioning: Locally inspired beers brewed with regionally sourced ingredients served as fresh as can be. ... Thank you everyone for your continued support! We can’t wait to get these doors open for you to come in and enjoy beers that are brewed with love and served with pride, straight out of Norwalk.

FRUITY ALERT Today we canned up a special Long Beach collaboration summer brew! @craftbeerlb teamed up with us and provided the delicious Calamansi Citrus for both beers. Berlin2Cali is a kettle-soured Berliner Weiss-style lager with Calamansi, and SuperCali is the same, but with the fruit dialed up to 11! Both are tart and refreshing and perfect for when it finally stops raining in SoCal.

The results are in and we are super-honored to have our Belgian Dark Strong be select as Best of Show in the 2019 BeerMe Brew Cup! Woohoo!
