Attention all current LAHC Students: ASO has an immediate opening for its Secretarial position. The Secretary is an ex-officio member of the Executive Cabinet (President, Executive VP and VP of Finance) and will serve at the discretion of the Executive Cabinet. This is work-study position totaling 20 hours per week. Job description as follows: Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements in addition to the guidelines set forth in Administrative Regulation E-22:... A. Must be an ASO LAHC (The Associated Student's Organization of Los Angeles Harbor College) member in good standing. B. Must be available for the hours specified for all ASO meetings, and for the Executive Cabinet. C. Qualified candidates will be interviewed by the Executive Cabinet members, and one (1) person will be hired at the end of the fourth (4th) week. D. training will start immediately following hiring. Shall keep accurate minutes of all Senate, the Executive Finance committee, Inter-Club Council, and any committee meetings. Shall handle all official correspondence of the LAHC ASO. Shall prepare and submit copies of records as requested by the LAHC ASO President. Shall perform the following clerical services for the LAHC ASO Senate: A. Prepare and post the agenda for all LAHC ASO Senate Meetings. B. Post copies of the LAHC ASO Senate minutes on the LAHC ASO bulletin board and put in Senator’s mailboxes. C. Prepare the Senate room for all ASHC meetings. D. Maintain current schedule of meetings and club activities in the LAHC ASO office. E. Keep Senate files in order. F. Perform clerical work as required by the LAHC ASO Executive Cabinet. Shall be responsible for the procurement of necessary LAHC ASO Senate supplies. Shall attend all LAHC ASO meeting, missing no more than two (2) meetings. Shall ensure that the provisions of the California Ralph M. Brown Act are met.
