Guys, so where do I even start... I had a total pinch-me-moment this week! Turns out I was nominated for the Salon Hero presented by @dysonhair x @maneaddicts and I was selected! Not only did I get a Dyson Corrale, but the best part of it all is that I was able to attend a class hosted by @jenatkinhair and @anhcotran If you know me, you know I’m a huge Jen Atkin fan, so to be recognized by her directly was A HUGE moment in my career! Thank you to all who nominated me. You...r sweet words literally brought me to tears! The reason I opened the salon in the first place was to have my team be the center of everything. I thought, why don’t some salon owners value the stylists that work at their salon like they should. So I decided to switch it up. Customer service is still on TOP of our priority list, but I believe stylists 1st customers 2nd. I know, crazy right, but if your’re a happy stylist at your work place, you will attract happy clients and the cycle goes on... Just a little before and after extensions edition. This client is fighting postpartum hair loss and we did her custom color and added 2 rows of handtied extensions! So happy with the outcome! If you have any extension questions just DM us for more information and we can schedule a consultation.

Well, here I am 36 weeks with only a few weeks left to go. And to say I am ready would be a complete lie ! For any mom of 2, were you more relaxed about the 2nd? Can anyone relate?! Let’s just say I’m pregnant at the exact same time I was with Sebastian, and the photos from Time Hop show me his nursery was completely done by the time I was 30 weeks. Everything was washed, folded and organized! Baby girl I still have everything in gift bags! I’m banking on the 2 weeks off... I have before my scheduled c-section to get everything done! Let’s cross our fingers she makes it to that date! Either way, ready or not, we are so excited to meet you sweet girl! Have you always known you wanted to be a hairdresser? I always want to be a photographer, but did everyone's hair on the side before I was licensed. I only wanted do hair to pay for photography equipment and then fell in LOVE with doing hair. I have zero interest in photography now. What’s is your favorite thing to do behind the chair? Hey Everyone! The festivities are upon us and somehow, im actually starting to get a sense of normalcy. My regular BUSY normal which I love. I realized I haven’t been as active here as I usually am, that’s because I have ALOT in the works, and can’t wait to share with everyone. But for now, here are some fun facts about me... Halloween addition 1. Hocus pocus is my fav Halloween movie, I try to watch it at least twice the month of October. It’s real nostalgic 2. ...I hate pumpkin season because I have a phobia of cluster holes or bumps I hate to see those bumpy pumpkins 3. I swear it’s a real thing, it’s called trypophobia 4. Starburst is my fav candy, I don’t like the taste of candy corn. 5. Twix is my favorite chocolate 6. I LOVE costume parties even though it’s been a few year since I’ve been to one. 7. In 2013 my best friends and I dressed up as the Sanderson sisters 8. Having my son has made Halloween so much better 9. He’s obsessed with Halloween and wanted to be a ghost this year. 10. My favorite costume I’ve ever made is of course Winne from hocus pocus. 11. I love couple/family costumes 12.Handing out candy has always been one of my fav parts of Halloween. What have you been doing during this shutdown? When the pandemic first hit, like everyone else, I was all over the place; concerned about my family’s health, worried about the salon, and stressed about not being available for my clients. I was getting so many questions about the Salon while I had all those questions myself! When things slowed down (forcibly) I had 2 choices; A) To be stressed out and overwhelmed or Use the time to be productive and focus on GRO...WTH in the near future. I chose B (full disclosure; A still happened ALOT). But focusing on growth and BIGGER plans allowed me to disconnect with things that were out of my control and be intentional with the time I was given. We are all worried about these uncertain times, but soon everything will hopefully return to normal (whatever that looks like). And when it does, we’ll be ready! Have you met my assistant @loxxbylyss ? Well if you haven’t, meet my right hand gal! She joined my team right before the pandemic hit, and probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Tutorial Time! After speaking to several of my clients I realized that many of them do not know how to actually use dry shampoo, or do not use the right amount.
