Los Angeles Conservatory of Music

Looking for a place to practice? Need to rent a piano room to get ready for a performance? Or just looking for a quiet spot in a safe location to play your instrument? We offer music room rentals by the hour, featuring a variety of choices in pianos including grand pianos. Our location includes free garaged parking and a security controlled building. Rates start at $10/hr!

This past weekend was a big weekend for our students. We had multiple students place in their respective divisions at the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County. We hope that everyone had a restful and enjoyable holiday season. This past winter while everyone was feasting and spending time off with their loved ones, two of our students (R.K. - voice, E.J. - piano) were invited to perform at the Teatro Studio in Parco della Musica in Rome, Italy after winning their divisions in an international music competition. When one of our winners was asked about her thoughts regarding her performance in Rome, she replied, "It was cold." Everyone is proud of you both!

The Los Angeles Conservatory of Music is a proud supporter of With Music, an organization that provides music education, instruments, and financial support to underprivileged communities around the world. Today, students and faculty from the Conservatory are taking part in a benefit concert for Sinaewon orhpanage at Cammilleri Hall at the University of Southern California. We applaud our piano teachers Yong T. and Yinji C. for their efforts in preparing our piano students for the Certificate of Merit (CM) exam at UCLA this month! The CM process includes music theory, performance, and technique (e.g. scales) for all different levels of ability. All 13 students who took the Certificate of Merit exams passed! A big high five to Eileen J., Heather C., Andrew K., Calvin K., Alexis K., Brandon P., Roy Kim., Jiah U., Aaron K., Elaina C., Nicole K., Chloe K., and Fiore C.!

Congratulations to Joshua L., a student of Sarah Chung’s voice studio! He was just accepted into the prestigious Washington National Opera’s Opera Institute summer program! We are proud of Joshua L. and wish him the best of luck this summer!!
