It was an all hands on deck kind of weekend with 199 Ocean Rescues tallied division wide. Our Ocean Lifeguard Candidates were able to capitalize on the busy beach conditions by putting in a long day on the sand gaining valuable ocean lifeguarding experience. Just about everyone wanted to come to the beach today! This morning lifeguards and beach patrons were able to assist a baby Duck who was found walking by itself near PCH in Santa Monica.
