We send our thoughts and prayers to our St. Marys Fire Department family as we mourn the passing of Fire Fighter Efren Medina. At just 20 years of age, Fire Fi...ghter Medina passed away while on duty and working his first shift on April 17, 2021. The St. Marys Fire Department shared that Fire Fighter Medina was known for his long time passion for firefighting and love of the fire service. Today, the #LACoFD will join with the Los Angeles Fire Department, along with other fire departments and our law enforcement family, in a procession as Fire Fighter Medina is returned home to California for burial. RIP Fire Fighter Medina
#StationPride Station pride, camaraderie, and leaving it better than you found it are hallmarks of the fire service. So too is physical fitness. ... At Fire Station 64, in San Dimas, these ideals have come together over the last several months. Firefighters assigned to Fire Station 64 have taken the old gym and turned it into something special, not only for the crews there now, but for future firefighters to come. In addition to purchasing new gym equipment, weights, and mats, firefighters created a custom American flag using painted 2 hose, along with a bull horn plaque that lights up each time the bell goes off. Thanks to all the members at 64’s for their hard work to improve the station. Great work! #LACoFD #LACountyFire #Firefighter #Caring #Teamwork #Commitment
