The King on the Cross (Matthew 27:32-37) 32 As they were going out, they found a Cyrenian man named Simon. The Mocking of Jesus (Matthew 27:27-31) 27 Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s residence and gathered the whole company around him. 28 They stripped him and dressed him in a scarlet robe. 29 They twisted together a crown of thorns, put it on his head, and placed a staff in his right hand. FOOD DISTRIBUTION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Around when COVID-19 lockdowns began, our church started giving out food and grocery items to some of our neighbors in need. The Lord blessed this work and eventually provided for us to start an on-going food-distribution ministry on certain Saturdays of the month.
