For our Throwback Thursday we revisit Andrés Paredes's project Memorable Mud at the 2019 LA Art Show. Andrés Paredes's work ranges from drawings and two-dimensional cutting paper to immersive installations, and make up private collections in Argentina and in several countries abroad. Memorable Mud is a participative installation that delves viewers into a multi-sensorial experience featuring scents, music - exclusively composed for this artwork and a carefully designed system... reflecting light through translucent stones. The exhibition was curated by Gabriela Urtiaga, and presented by CCK (Cultural Center / Buenos Aires, Argentina) . . @andresparedesarte #laartshow #andresparedesarte #throwbackthursday #contemporaryart #modernart #fineart #contemporarypainting #contemporary #painting #art #artshow

For our Throwback Thursday we revisit the exhibition 'The Best Days of Your Life, an Atlas,' by artist Scott Hove at the 2019 LA Art Show. Scott Hove (@scotthove) returned to the Show in 2019 with his museum-scale wall installation. The 36 gallons of acrylic "frosting" created a compelling illusion of imminent satisfaction and re-imagined an idealized contextualization of personal memory. The exhibition was presented by Art All Ways (@art_all_ways). . . #laartshow #scotthove #art_all_ways #throwbackthursday #contemporaryart #modernart #fineart #contemporarypainting #contemporary #painting #art #artshow
