Here are some garden pic updates. We also got most of the sprinklers going and repaired in the side yard. Ready for this virus to end so we can have our backyard barter town. I have so much stuff I just need to clear out! Everything is ready to find new homes. I am so super stoked to be able to trade what we grow this year as well! We have about 35 quail due to hatch in 2 weeks and 12 more baby chicks! I love spring! -Kimberly BeAr

So, while we are all social distancing, I am over here prepping the gardens. We finally figured out how to work the irrigation system on the other half of our property. We replaced a bunch of the heads and need to repair a few of the PVC pipes. Then the hard work... clearing weeds, leveling the ground, and tilling the soil. I ordered some beneficial nematodes yesterday! If you don't know me well enough yet.. I am a huge advocate of organic growing and not using pesticides. Nematodes are wonderful at keeping out pests, especially in your soil! -Kimberly BeAr

What are you all planting this year? So far I have carrots, celery, spinach, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, all sorts of squash and zucchini, goji berries, and peppers. I'm sure there are some I am forgetting to add. Anyone have any tips on growing corn out here? ... Also, if you want to barter any farming equipment, seeds, or household items... feel free to post. I'm still looking for canning jars! New or used. Would love to trade seeds as well! <3 Kimberly BeAr
