L.A. now has a Creole vegan restaurant!!! Make sure to follow @souleyveganla and go support! #creolevegan For those of you not familiar, Cajun and Creole are very similar (so similar that they’re often mistaken for the same thing). So if you loved us, you will definitely love #SouleyVegan too! GO ORDER ALL THE THINGS!!!! Love, Krim (@the.krim.reaper)

Thank you, @nytimes for the article! We cannot protect against pandemics while continuing to eat meat regularly. Much attention has been paid to wet markets, but factory farms, specifically poultry farms, are a more important breeding ground for pandemics. Further, the C.D.C. reports that three out of four new or emerging infectious diseases are zoonotic the result of our broken relationship with animals. Tag someone who would enjoy this article!

Thank you, The New York Times! These current times represent a historic tipping point for the plant-based movement, and we are excited to be here to witness/be a part of it. Good things are coming. Cheers to plants, everyone!!!

UPDATE! Yes, we are still closed. We will likely reopen soon if we feel that we can do so safely, but it all just depends. No one (including the government) is forcing us to stay closed. While we appreciate your concern, it’s simply unwarranted. We have made this decision for ourselves. Thank you for your continued support. Laissez les bons temps rouler! ... - Krim

Throwback #4! To the day we introduced the PRIDE Poboy! Because we believe that everyone should be proud of who they are. 10% of net proceeds donated directly to @trevorproject to help LGBTQ+ Youth. STATISTICS (from #TrevorProject): 2 in 3 LGBTQ youth reported that someone tried to convince them to change their sexual orientation or gender identity. Youth who have undergone conversion therapy more than twice as likely to attempt suicide as those who did not. 87% of LGBTQ youth said it was important to them to reach out to a crisis intervention organization that focuses on LGBTQ youth. 98% said a safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth would be valuable to them. (i.e...We need more safe spaces!) We love you! #BornThisWay @ Krimsey's Cajun Kitchen

Throwback #3 (Aug 2017)...moving into our new location! We were all SO relieved to finally have some extra space! However...it wasn’t long before we started saying this kitchen is too dang small! I mean that’s how things go right? Many thanks to our very special Krewe and of course @adamchristgau for helping build ANOTHER counter for us! And @jessjoymagic for painting all of the lovely murals and bathroom designs @ Krimsey's Cajun Kitchen

Throwback #2...our original location! Go all the way to the end to see the before pic of the space! (It was a deli before) With the help of friends and family, we got it done all on our own. It was truly a DIY project on a shoestring budget! For those of you that don’t already know, this is the tiny TINY space we occupied for our first six months in business. Then, we started to outgrow it! Luckily, the corner space (that we now occupy) opened up at just the right time so we scooted on over. Thank you to everyone who helped me in that original spot!!!

Remember hugging? Since we are currently closed and it seems a little cruel to share food photos...I’ll start sharing some throwbacks instead. This was from 4 years ago at @vegfestla ...making new friends and selling jambalaya mix, cookbooks, and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Murder shirts Does anyone still have one of these shirts? I think I gave all mine away #vegansofla #vegan #vegfest #vegansofig #govegan #geauxvegab #icantbelieveitsnotmurder
