Kreative Kipot By Galit

I am a rabbi and cantor with a creative streak. Years ago I learned how to crochet because I bit my nails (you should see them now!). There are some beautiful, clever and sometimes humorous designs, and when I first decided to focus on small projects rather than large ones (like tablecloths), and because I have always been something of a fashionista, I made kipot to match the outfits I wore. Over the years my skill has grown and I began creating my own original designs. Then ...I embellished my creations with decorations, jewels, etc. To be clear, my kipot are not just skullcaps. They are custom-made. And often they aren't just conversation pieces - well, they ARE, really - they are collection items. I have seen many beautifully crocheted and designed kipot, artistic and special. But these designs are YOURS. You tell me what you want, whether it's just a simple star border, or something whimsical, or your name in Hebrew (and/or English). So here's my store. I have never done anything like this before; I hope you like what you see. If you see something you like but you want a different color, design, decoration, tell me. The prices reflect the materials used in creating them. So if you like something, but without the jewels or the silk cord or the tassel. the price will reflect that, as well as if you want me to add jewels or some other decoration. That's what "custom-made" is all about. No two are alike. This is a learning process for me and one cannot learn without making mistakes. So I need your feedback to make this work.
