19 years ago, after 9 11 there were flags everywhere -In front of homes and businesses- on car antennas, clothing , hats , coffee cups -being patriotic was in fashion . We came together and stood for our country , honoring those heros( firemen, policemen , medical workers) who put everything on the line. It saddens me that now, flying the flag causes you to be threatened and attacked. The flag is disrespected and Policeman are openly killed and called, Evil. Many believe t...hat our country is something to be ashamed of... how quickly some forget! The very same public servants they slander and attack, are those who dug through the rubble of the towers to save lives... many of them did not make it back out . Wake up America! Stand and salute your flag. Honor your God and Country. Don’t allow them to take Under God out of the pledge of allegiance. See more
