Dr. CeCe Rubalcava, Th.D. Ordained Minister CeCe grew up in a Christian home and has always considered herself a believer. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 12, and was baptized at 13. God's word tells us it rains on the just and unjust (Matthew 5:45), and Dr. Rubalcava understands this very well: Being a Christian has not spared her from a life of struggles. Her parents divorced when she was 10, thrusting CeCe and her family into a world of pain.... At the age of 13, an autoimmune disease attacked her body. Dr. Rubalcava will tell you that these struggles challenged her faith and forced her to seek The Lord like never before. Through her struggles God has shown CeCe His faithfulness and power. She feels a connection with the Apostle Paul when she reads his words, "pressed...but not crushed; struck down, but not destroyed." (II Corinthians 4:8, 9). Today the strongest part of her testimony is hanging on, not giving up, and trusting in God no matter what! Her passion is to help others overcome their negative emotions through Christian counseling, so they can live-out God's plan and purpose for their lives. CeCe holds fast to the following passage : "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6 (KJV) Dr. Rubalcava earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield. She received a Master in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Pennsylvania State University. CeCe then went on to achieve both a Master and Doctorate in Theology, emphasized in Christian Counseling from Summit Bible College. Dr. Rubalcava conducts sessions in English and Spanish. To contact CeCe email her at [email protected] or call: 661.324.4070, ext. 403.

Meet our staff: Dr. Joy Wright, Th.D. Ordained Minister... Joy was born on a reservation where her parents were Christian missionaries to the Navajo Indians in New Mexico. But behind closed doors secretes of abuse were kept. Dr. Wright learned to survive by operating as a surface Christian, trusting in her performance rather than living in the freedom of Christ Jesus. But God is good! Through His love, grace, and mercy Joy experienced the healing she needed, and was transformed from survivor to victor by the spirit God has filled her with: a spirit of power, love, and sound-mind (II Timothy 1:7)! Dr. Wright graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelor Degree in Education, and went on to earn a Master in School Counseling from University of La Verne. Joy continued to advance in her field by earning an Administrative Credential from Point Loma University. After her successful twenty-three year career in Education, Dr. Wright went on to earn a Doctorate of Theology Degree in Christian Counseling from Summit Bible College (SBC), graduating summa cum laude. Joy is an ordained Minister through SBC’s Ministers Fellowship; as well as a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors. While she works on a variety of cases, Dr. Wright’s focus is on treating anxiety, marital/family counseling, as well as women’s issues, and has some 15,000 hours of practice experience in counseling. Joy is a gifted singer and a worship leader at the Christ-centered church she attends. As a regular local performer to Bakersfield, CA., Dr. Wright has sung in many venues, including: Vaudeville Express, Stars Theater, and is a proud member of the acapella girls trio The Lollipops! To contact Joy email her at [email protected] or call: 661.324.4070, ext. 303.
