| ST. FRANCIS, PRAY FOR US (AND OUR PETS, TOO)! | Why all the pictures of animals and owners at the Parish? Not only do we want you to enjoy some cute animals after a long week but, today is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi!!! St. Francis believed that the world was created good and beautiful by God. He believed that all creatures should praise God and the people have a duty to protect and enjoy nature as both stewards of God’s creation, and as creatures ourselves! ... To celebrate this feast, Dcn. John & Fr. Nick offered a special Blessing of the Animals to our non-human members of our community yesterday in the gathering plaza! It was awesome to see so many of you - socially distanced, of course!
You will undoubtedly notice the new logo on our page, and you will be noticing it around the parish more and more. Inspired by St. Thérèse's French heritage, a team of designers along with a team of parishioners and staff crafted this meaningful and modern design. Made up of four Fleur de Lis, a symbol of a flower or lily, that has been used throughout history to represent Catholic saints of France, it honors not only Thérèse's French heritage, but also her title "The Little... Flower." The four Fleur de Lis create an image reminiscent of a budding flower, while also creating the image of a cross. With the gold circle encapsulating the emblem representing the centrality of the Eucharist to our faith. Stay tuned and be on the lookout for St. Thérèse of Carmel apparel and other keepsakes in the near future!
Fr. Chris & Fr. Nick just want to say, "hi" and "happy Thursday" to all of of you! They love you all so much (and so do we). We hope you had a great week!

At St. Thérèse of Carmel, every day is National Dog Day! But, because the rest of the world is celebrating #nationaldogday today, we will take some time to honor and celebrate two of our favorite parishioners, Captain and Flambeau! Next time you are at the Parish, make sure you say, 'hi!'

You ever have one of those moments where something is bothering you/you’re thinking about something a lot and then God just shows up and you find exactly what y...ou needed to hear? It happened to me yesterday! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me and some friends were taking a look at the daily readings, and in the passage Jeremiah 31:1-7, Jeremiah reveals this line/love song/verse/promise from God to the Israelites (and us). That He will always be with us, to give us everything we need and everything we need to become everything we were meant to be. We are works in progress - beautiful, beautiful works in progress with so much to come! Ever since, these words have been resonating and reverberating in my heart. This is the call and promise God gives to all of us. See more

VBS (IN A BOX) 2020: JESUS IS THE LIGHT - We finished up an awesome week of Virtual Vacation Bible School (VBS)! The theme was Jesus is the light, and we took our group to camp (as best as we could)!... - Close to 30 kids were able to pick up a box with all the supplies they needed to virtually participate in all the fun of 'Camp' this year from the comfort and safety of their home. - Our Faith Formation team, along with some awesome volunteers, ran livestreamed activities for kids to participate in via Zoom! From Campfire stories, to Mad Scientists, to Arts & Crafts, to Singing & Dancing, and so much more! - It was so much fun! Check out some of the album on our page for more pictures. Parents - send in any more pictures you took of all the fun!
