In response to recent incidents in District 5, Supervisor Preston is convening a virtual community meeting on public safety this Thursday, October 28, 6:30 p.m. There will be representatives from SFPD, the District Attorney's office, Victim Services, SF Safe and more. Silver Bells is one of Kimochi’s longest-running, most popular fundraising events a big community gathering place and a holiday shopper’s dream. Volunteers needed Nutrition Program Monday Friday Volunteers must be 18-59 years of age.... Meal Preparation: Assist our cooks in the preparation of the day’s meal. Meal Packing: Assist in the packing of the day’s meal to go. Due to the popularity of our meals, the line to receive meals are long. Assistance is needed to monitor the line to assist seniors as necessary. "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away." Kimochi serves a nutritious, well-balanced, Japanese-style hot lunch 5 days a week, Monday through Friday (except major holidays). The menu is carefully planned and prepared by our Nutritionist and staff to ensure each meal is healthy, nutritionally balanced and adequately proportioned for seniors.
