You can have fun every day, even at home and we're excited to bring you and your kiddos: THE TROLL CHALLENGE Trolls are inspirational! They are optimistic, happy, and joyful. We all need a Troll Buddy. Have your kids (or make it a family affair!) make one by Monday, April 6!... Upload a pic to our Facebook page or email it to [email protected] - #KPTrollChallenge Optional - Give your Buddy a name. Kids can use their imagination to make their Troll Buddy. For ideas, check out our Pinterest Board. There is a Troll Desk Buddy sample. Extra tips: Director Cora at KidsPark (San Jose) made her Troll Buddy, Flora (Cora with flowers!). Cora used white paper. She hand drew her Troll based on the Troll Buddy in Pinterest. www.pinterest.com/kidsparkinc She then used markers to color her in. Paint, Crayons or chalk can also be used. She taped her drawing to half a paper plate for a stand. The stand could also be a piece of cardboard. HINT: If the drawing is started high on the page, the bottom can be folded back to form a stand. Today has been full of emotions...as of last night, the state of California has been asked to stay at home and protect one another against this virus that is rapidly spreading. Today, the sky was absolutely beautiful with picture perfect weather. I stood next to several of my teachers who have been by my side for years and made the difficult decision to temporarily close KidsPark of Fresno. Our guiding principle is to do the right thing...so we are putting the health and safety of our community, our families that we serve and our staff first and staying home.
