This is a step in the right direction. ALL CA occupational and professional licensing regimens are LONG overdue for a complete overhaul. It's time for systemic reform to eliminate barriers that consistently block rehabilitated individuals from entering professions that create opportunities for economic advancement and greater contribution to our communities.

Unbelievable and completely unacceptable! Three VA nurses were accused of stealing and read their miranda rights by a police officer simply because they used PPE on the job. (My mom worked as a nurse here for years. I cannot imagine....)

Enough inaction. It's time to demand the CA Board of Registered Nursing and Governor Newsom act to protect the public by ensuring an adequate number of nurses and other health care providers are available to care for CA patients. PLEASE reach out and urge your local legislators (http://www.legislature.ca.gov/your_legislator.html), the BRN (https://www.rn.ca.gov/contact.shtml) and Gov. Newsom (https://govapps.gov.ca.gov/gov40mail/) to ACT NOW.
