*UPDATE: You guys are amazing, we already found foster for these guys! But we are getting multiple litters a day so still let us know if you can bottle feed for us! *Bottle foster urgently needed* Warning graphic medical picture... Only a few weeks into kittens season and we’ve already run out of our regular bottle kitten fosters. These kittens have an extra special need as one of them is missing part of his leg. We don’t know what happened to this little guy before he got here or if he’ll pull through but he seems otherwise healthy. Our medical staff has don’t what they can for such a small patient now it’s up to someone out there to hopefully step in and care for him as he heals. If you are available to fosters these little guys, please call us as soon as possible at 661-868-7131. KCAS provides all supplies and medical to fosters, well they just need your time and love!

If you need a best friend who will listen to all your problems (without judgment of course), lounge around with you on long lazy summer days, and always make time to cuddle, I am your girl! My foster family calls me JuJubee(A#1138488) but you can call me anything you like because I am super smart and love pleasing my peps. At 2 years old I learn very quickly. I love taking a bath and have great manners, never chewing, digging, or whining, even when I am left alone. I also ...love cuddling and napping. I am a bit on the lazy side but do enjoy a nice walk around the park from time to time. I am an angel on my leash. I am happy where I am living now except my foster brother is sooooooo annoying. He is much bigger than me and has a lot of energy. He does not understand that this girl really needs her me time and I would rather hang out with my two-legged friends. Hopefully, you will read this and have as much love in your heart to give as I do. I promise to try to make you happy every day and be the best friend you need. If interested in jujubee please contact the foster line at 661-868-7130 See more

Carrie came into the shelter very scared and shut down. She laid in her kennel shaking and not making eye contact. Not showing well, and knowing that she needed out of the shelter setting, we reached out to our rescue partner Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society & DAWG. They worked with her teaching her trust and showing her all the love that she deserves. Due to their hard work, Carrie found her forever home! She now has a loving home and gets to go on daily hikes. Huge thank you to everyone that worked so hard save this girl and give her the life that she deserves!
