Kennedy Meadows needs your support in defeating measure U on the November ballot. Measure U will raise the TOT tax on hotels, resorts and cabin rentals from 10% to 12%. Measure U also puts a new tax on camping. Never before has the public had to pay a tax on renting a campsite on national forest. We believe that all of us pay enough in taxes and that taxing camping should not be a new way to raise taxes. The money raised from this would be put directly in the general fund and disappear. Please oppose and vote no on measure U this election.
