How can we manage natural and cultural resources for all? If this coalition means anything, it means listening to and amplifying voices of vision and belief in shared and conserved outdoor spaces even as more people than ever choose to venture 'into the wild'. Can we do it?

Gyms feed new people into the Outdoors, and represent an important way for outdoor industry brands and retailers, guides and outfitters to prosper in the post-COVID era; Or ... they keep people indoors and the outdoor industry needs to compete with them? Or is this the era of 'co-opetition' where we both collaborate and compete?

Repost from @joytripproject "A voice like mine has never been a Cabinet secretary or at the head of the Department of Interior. Growing up in my mother’s Pueblo household made me fierce. I’ll be fierce for all of us, our planet, and all of our protected land.... I am honored and ready to serve." ~Deb Haaland appointed U.S. Secretary of the Interior.

Repost from @joshuatreenps #winningtheinternet #recreateresponsibly Join us in completing the following Joshua Tree-themed yoga poses and #VirtuallyExperience Joshua Tree while at home! Ryan Mountain pose: The foundation of standing poses. Stand tall like Ryan Mountain with your feet together and your arms at your sides. If you have trouble balancing, stand with your feet six inches apart (or wider). Breathe deeply in your mouth and out your nose three times. Don’t forg...et to relax your shoulders down from your ears! Joshua tree pose: Find a place or object in the room to focus your attention. Slowly shift your weight onto one leg, and lift the other off the floor. Place your foot onto your thigh, avoiding your knee. Balance here for a few breaths. Want an extra challenge? Reach your arms out and create your best Joshua tree branches! Desert tortoise pose: Kneel on the floor with your toes together and your knees hip-width apart. Next, lower your torso between your knees. Extend your arms alongside your torso to form your shell, with your palms facing up. You can rest in Desert Tortoise for as long as needed. Downward Coyote pose: From the Desert tortoise pose make your way to your hands and knees. After your hands are shoulder-width apart you can stretch back and lift your knees off the ground. Peddle out your feet and let out a few deep breaths. As always, safety is your personal responsibility. What yoga pose reminds you of National Parks? Comment below explaining why it is your favorite!
