Tracy told me to tell everyone hello and she will be at church this Saturday night!!

Tracy and I are hoping to see as many of our friends as possible during the month of September, our last month at Judson. See YOU hopefully this Saturday night at 7 pm!

Important Announcement from Pastor Keith Dear Judson Family: I am writing this letter to those of you who were unable to attend this evening’s worship service. ...We are living in strange times that limit our interaction with each other. Sometimes I feel that our church is scattered all over the Inland Empire and when we do gather it is only a percentage of everyone. We are trusting God with our future and in these circumstances. This evening we experienced a time of worship and the Lord’s Supper. Through the years this has always been one of my favorite times with our church family. Near the end of the service I made what I am sure was an unexpected announcement. Tracy and I feel that the Lord is leading us to move to Sacramento area where we will be closer to her family, and where I will launch a new ministry to evangelize in Africa and help African pastors. We will also pastor a very small but sweet church family, the First Baptist Church of Sutter Creek. I am excited about all the things I will do, but I am brokenhearted at the thought of leaving this wonderful place. I love Judson and I know you love me, but sometimes God leads us to do things that are difficult for our hearts. Last Sunday night I met with our elders to share my heart and give them my letter resignation. These men are my friends. I love them like brothers and they feel the same way about me. I know the Lord will lead them to lead you well and that the Lord has great things in store for our great church. My resignation is effective September 30, 2020. In the next several weeks I will be preaching to encourage you and prepare you for the future. I hope you will be present in whatever way you are able. It is important for us to remember that WE are the church and WE can do great things for the Lord if WE will let Him USE us. While the future includes some mysteries as it always does, our faith will sustain our vision for what Judson can do in the Inland Empire and San Bernardino. I hope you know how much I love you and that it has been the honor of my life to be your pastor. Every sincere pastor hopes to be a blessing TO his congregation, but I have had the real blessing of being blessed BY my congregation. You have loved me and my family, and been patient with my weaknesses. You have supported my family, and wept and cried and prayed with me and Tracy. I will never forget it, nor will my appreciation for this place diminish with the passing of time. May the Lord bless each of you and may He lead us in everything we do.
