A message from the Chief of Police regarding the Regional Stay-At-Home Order.

Yesterday a day shift officer located a unoccupied suspicious vehicle registered to a wanted felon with 2 outstanding warrants. A plan was developed and the subject was later located and taken safely into custody. He was booked into Orange County Jail for various charges, to include felon in possession of a firearm, stolen firearm, high capacity magazine, ammunition, multiple ounces of narcotics for sales, and multiple identity theft and fraud charges. 2 guns, credit card fraud equipment and a large amount of drugs were safely removed from our streets!

At noon today, Cal OES will be sending a wireless emergency alert to residents reminding them of the regional stay-at-home order. This alert is for informational purposes only.

The Southern California Region’s ICU capacity has fallen below 15 percent. The state’s stay-at-home order is now in effect for the Southern California Region as of 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. For more information please visit covid19.ca.gov
