Charlie Dunn says: Jennie Lynn and two of her lady friends, Joyce and Marine, departed this morning for a trip to Reno/Lake Tahoe on a well deserved long 5 day week-end sabbatical. It was interesting to observe what items were given priority for each of them. Jennie Lynn I know packed for cool weather, Joyce always brings along snacks, and "must" sit in a front seat so she doesn't get "car sick" - Jennie Lynn and Marine will do all the driving. And Marine brings a little cool...er with water and said : "They had to stop at Starbucks to get her Espresso Jolt for the morning before they hit the road. Jennie Lynn gave me a list of things to do, and a list of things not to do, while she was gone. I'll start by going over to Stan's to have a little hair of the dog - It's after 12:00 Noon somewhere. I hope I can remember everything, I've lost the list! "Life Is Good", I Hope They Enjoy Themselves, And I'm Sure They Will. I Only Regret Is That My Sister Cathie Wasn't Available To Go With Them - Maybe Next Time. NOTE: And Jennie Lynn "Really" Should Do This More Often. So what should I do "Home Alone" for 5 days? Not sure if Amber and the girls will be here or not, difficult to keep track of their comings and goings - "Home Alone At Christmas"? Hummm??? And The Beat Goes On, Cheers & Beers, Charlie

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen of the F/B Realm of Mystery & Suspense, Nothing New and Special going on in the World of Charlie Dunn - Retired Chimney Sweep. Although I shall be flying up to Oregon to attend the OCSA Convention & Trade Show to bid adieu to my long time friend Jim Gillam - Mr. SNEWS Magazine, who is retiring this year. It is interesting what you can collect over the years - besides inches around your waist and a wider butt? I was going to take a few things up with m...e, Chimney Sweep T- Shirts, Caps, Polo Shirts, Patches, Pins, etc. to be auctioned or raffled off to raise a few dollars for the OCSA - I now have one large suit case completely full! WOW! Who would have thought? I hope the membership bring their wallets and check books! And I'd like to thank Courtney Lee for assisting me in making arrangements to attend. I do hope to be attending the MCSG Convention & Trade Show next year with Dave Hannah - Mr. Magazine for Blue Collar Entrepreneurs. Dave shall also be picking up the slack for all the Current National & International Chimney Sweep News with the departure of Jim & Harriet Gillam and SNEWS Magazine. Point of interest, I do not visited this website often - should you want to contact me, I can be contacted on FaceBook and you can also P/M me. I "never" reply on this website. That is pretty much it for now. Best regards, Charlie Dunn

Charlie Dunn says: The NCSG Convention & Trade Show is history now, and was deja vu for me. I hooked-up with a many vintage friends, and made a few new ones. Two of the new ones I met were Klaus Tapken and Stephan Lander, German Chimney Sweeps - they also stopped by today for a real sit down Mexican Lunch, from my favorite Mexican Working Man's Restaurant - A Super Sized Beef Burrito, Tacos, Chips, Salsa and a Pacifico Beer with a Jack Daniel's over ice wash.It was a two side...d treat for them - first they had never been to an American Chimney Sweep's home, and second, they had never had a burrito, taco, chips & salsa or a Mexican Beer. So it was a nice experience for them. Time to start packing up for the International Swedish Chimney Sweep Gathering in May and also start planning for the Santa Maria Maggiore Gathering in August - September. "Life is good". Cheers, Charlie
