This morning was one of the adventure days... we ended up rescuing a litter of baby bunnies from our dog, who sniffed out the burrow and destroyed it. Since caring for litter of desert cottontails isn't our specialty, we found a local wildlife rescue. We had to rearrange our schedule to get them there, but these adorable babies are now in the caring hands of Sunshine Haven Wildlife Rehabilitatio...n where they will receive care for the next week until they are old enough to be released. Sunshine Haven operates solely on donations and volunteers; when you take a wild animal to them they ask that you donate what you can.
