Buns and Biceps CORE Session F.I.T. Tip: Let’s talk hinge! We hip hinge every day even if we don’t think about it. We pick up things off the ground, bend over to garden or sweep. Many times we are unaware of this movement and put ourselves at risk of injuring our low back. Have you ever picked up a pencil or something light off the ground and actually thought about positioning yourself like you are deadlifting 100 pounds? Probably not. But this is a very common injury in the workplace because we add torsion and don’t brace our core or body correctly. Focus on the correct hinge pattern this week no matter what you are picking up!

Head to your local farmers marker or butcher and get the local fresh food without the mass transportation, labor and packaging!
