This is a really helpful article I just stumbled across regarding COVID-19 and brain fog. MVP’s social media profile has been quiet lately because I am recover...ing from COVID myself (mild case) and had to take a couple of weeks off. Brain fog is real! But just like many other COVID symptoms and after-effects, not everyone experiences it. It’s such a frustrating and baffling disease. Even if you’re not a Pilates teacher, this is good reading. I’m excited to return to moving, teaching Pilates and putting some of the skills I learned in my Pilates for Neurological Conditions training to use on myself!

It’s a beautiful day to hike the redwoods...in Oakland! Today I did a nice 5 mile loop starting at the Equestrian Arena, lots of good uphills on the Golden Spike trail! Not to mention some pretty cool dogs and horses. Happy Fall! Here is a lovely shot of a manzanita at Huckleberry Botanic Preserve. From Skyline Blvd, there are several ways to get there, but the parking lot is just before/south of Everton Drive. A quiet hike today; I didn’t encounter one other hiker. Mt. Diablo stands resolutely in the background.
