Julie's Purse Project 501c3 04.12.2020

You guys and girls are all so amazing. This fills my bucket, and I hope yours as well. This morning a woman I worked with in a restaurant YEARS AGO, is picking ...up four locations worth of filled barrels in Auburn to bring to me. I love and NEED the support. This has grown way faster than anything I can do alone. I need my tribe. I love my tribe. Kellie Swallow #PurseTribeMVP

Gotta love Maya Angelou..... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .... Enough money within her control to move out...... And rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or needs to... Something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to See Her in an hour... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ... A youth she's content to leave behind.... A past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her Old Age.... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE . A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra... One friend who always makes her laugh... And one Who lets her cry... A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .... A good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her Family... Eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, And a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel Honored... A feeling of control over her destiny... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... How to fall in love without losing herself.. HOW TO QUIT A JOB, BREAK UP WITH A LOVER, AND CONFRONT A FRIEND WITHOUT RUINING THE FRIENDSHIP... When to try harder... And WHEN TO WALK AWAY... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... That she can't change the length of her calves, The width of her hips, or the nature of her parents.. That her childhood may not have been perfect... But it's over... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... What she would and wouldn't do for love or more... How to live alone... Even if she doesn't like it... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... Whom she can trust, Whom she can't, And why she shouldn't take it personally... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... Where to go... Be it to her best friend's kitchen table... Or a charming inn in the woods... When her soul needs soothing... EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW... What she can and can't accomplish in a day... A month... And a year... Written By: Maya Angelou/Pamela Redmond Satran Image source: Google

This morning I went to Tiffany & Co. in Roseville to be presented with a gorgeous Tiffany necklace! I received their Hometown Hero award and I couldn’t be mor...e grateful! I was able to have one side engraved however I chose, so it says Purse Tribe , and there is a diamond on the other side. This pendant is exclusive for this award, I’m a happy girl. See more

Hey Purse Tribe! So I’m doing a thing.....on October 29th I’ll be at LUX Salon and Spa Folsom getting a FREE haircut at an AMAZING salon! Do you have 8 of hair to spare? We are sending at least 8 of hair to an organization called Hair We Share that makes wigs for people who need them. Thank you for coming up with the idea Maria Britton, and thank you Debbie Eaton Hardacre and Jim Hardacre for providing the beautiful location and generous stylists! I’m excited! (Sorry, husband, it will grow back!!) Join us!!! I will also have a pink barrel out collecting donations for JPP! My first haircut since COVID, might as well make it a good one! The company will even send you a picture of the wig they made with your hair. Who’s in?! We have space for about 15 appointments!
