Happy Monday! Starting off the week by focusing on some little things for my business and taking advantage this slower season. Cheers to a hopefully productive week ahead.

This snowy engagement session yesterday was well worth with every bit of the hike down to breathtaking views. 2021 sessions are off to an amazing start! Thankful for Taylor and Marcus who were so down for it all and helped me laugh through the struggle of the mile hike back up which was all incline...phew (we blamed it on the altitude ) Greatly looking forward to their wedding later this year. #engaged #tahoeengagementphotographer

This mini getaway to Tahoe was just perfect. Cozy, quiet and being able to see Elias experience snow for the first time was the best Christmas gift of it all. The sled was a hit! P.S. Elias was content with the snow in only small doses before the fake crying took over.

Said a fair well to September and a welcoming hello to October (but just a day late) Ready for this new month that comes a very busy schedule. Yipee! And yes it includes 3 weddings, I repeat THREE weddings!

A minimalist set up gets me every time

Alright, phew, thankful there are a handful of decent ones that came out of last night’s attempt of photos with Elias with a fellow friend photographer. Drove away from that thinking there hadn’t been even one of Elias that was decent. I have to admit it was a lot harder than anticipated and I had to go with the flow of Elias not being in the greatest mood. Elias is in such an independent wanting to crawl and move stage that it’s hard to keep him content while holding him for more than a second. Hats off to all those mamas who manage to make taking photos with young ones look so freaking effortless.
