This is the wrap up for our six week series on The Sabbath Day. We have provided information and scriptures with absolute certainty, that God intended for His people who called by His name to follow His instructions from the beginning to the end, cover to cover. We believe in the whole which is the whole truth of God. We will continue teach and preach the unadulterated word of God as He leads.

What did Jesus mean when He said those words and what He must felt at that final moment.

23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. 24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? 25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? 26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? 27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

The Sabbath was created for man and not man for the Sabbath, why don't we observe it and cut out that time that God has established for and Him. This is the fourth commandment in Exodus 20:8-11. God maintains His stance on the Sabbath all through the bible, We must realize that God is giving us a gift of rest, let's take full advantage of it.

Mankind has gotten complacent with busyness and with things that replace spending time with God. Making such choices will lead to destruction or at the very least, suffer grave consequences. We struggle with the gift and benefit that God has given us called the Sabbath (Rest), weather to follow His original instructions He intended or to find our own interpretation of scriptures that seems to explain why the sabbath is not valid any longer. God's word stands and has never changed when it comes to the commandments He instituted and established. But, study for yourself how God wrote those very commandments with His finger and after wrote them in the minds and upon the hearts of man. Think about it!
