When we work on physical healing, the whole body needs to be considered, including emotional aspects that trigger physical responses. The mind, soul, spirit, and body are all connected. Trauma is a huge influencer of our physical health.
One of my favorite teas for naturally supporting relaxation is the Berry Calm from @theliquidleaf. I love being able to have it at home while still supporting one of my favorite small businesses.
The camu camu berry is my favorite source for vitamin C. At 50-60x the amount of vitamin C of an orange, this superfood is one of the top known sources of vitamin C, which is crucial for immune function, iron absorption, better sleep, healthy inflammatory response, and collagen production, among many other benefits. Camu camu is easily absorbed and gentle on the digestive tract. It helps to support liver health, metabolism, cognitive ability, and mood stability. My favorite way to use it is in powder form, easily added to protein shakes and smoothies.
Remember to drink your water today! Hydration is crucial for energy production and cellular function. This means you'll have more energy for the day and better sleep at night! (And when we're better hydrated, we're better equipped to handle those complicated emotions.)
Consuming the pesticides and insecticides left on your produce can cause stress to your endocrine and gastrointestinal systems, potentially leading to hormonal imbalance and gut inflammation, among other issues. Choosing organic is always best when possible, but even organic produce may have pesticides on it from nearby farms or even from how it was processed after being picked up for transport. It's important to always still soak and rinse your fruits and veggies, organic or not. My favorite method of cleaning my produce is with Thieves Fruit & Veggie soak. Be mindful of which words you use after "I am." I am sick of... I am tired of... I am stuck. I am sorry. I am struggling. I hate this. I'm not good at... We internalize what we say about ourselves. While they may be honest words of how we are feeling in that moment, they are not words of growth and gratitude. They are not words that encourage change, but rather they encourage weighted stagnance. ... I am working through this. I am learning. I am growing. I am developing. I am able to. I can. One of my favorite aspects of the biocommunication scans are the affirmations we can scan for to help improve mindset. They often communicate deeply to what we are going through and internalizing about ourselves and they work as a great reminder to keep our focus on the positive changes we are capable of in order to improve our overall emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
