This evening the Tri-City Healthcare District board of directors voted 7-0 in support of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the County of San Diego to dev...elop a new 16-bed inpatient Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) on their Oceanside campus. This MOU is the culmination of nearly a year of discussions between Tri-City and County leaders as they pursued a collaborative, sustainable plan that would help meet the needs of behavioral health patients in coastal North County. The MOU will next be considered by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors on September 10th.
