The number reason I LOVE my career here at Liberty Mutual is because of how we respond to events such as the eight wildfires that are impacting CA. Around 1,500 homes and businesses have been lost industrywide. Mandatory evacuations are impacting around 20,000 people. Our claims department have informed us this morning of the following actions that will be taken to help assist our customers in affected areas: Deployment of CRV: Catastrophe Response Vehicle has been deploy...ed to California to provide assistance to customers locally (communication into location will be confirmed as soon as possible) Property Inside Large Loss Teams are being leveraged to begin handling initial contacts for claims currently filed Field Large Loss Teams, Region Zone Employees and CAT Field Employees will begin to respond and inspect reported damages as soon as possible. Property Inside Fast Path Teams will be handling less severe losses which include minor smoke and ash for customers that have been evacuated. Claims personnel are in the field in impacted areas and other team members are centrally located to manage the behind-the-scenes operations.
