We were able to say goodbye to our Dallas rehab yesterday after several delays and ups and downs. This was a true experience from day one. We purchased the home through a wholesaler at a fair price. We hired a contractor who supplied us with documents stating he was licensed and bonded, guess what he lied and I made the mistake of not thoroughly checking him out through the state. We found out he was doing damage beyond what even we thought possible. We had a person sending u...s weekly pics, but did not tell us that she thought the work was inferior. Luckily I decided to fly out there to inspect the property and discovered issues. He had removed load bearing beams in the attic and not properly supported them, he improperly installed windows, he rerouted electrical to suit his purpose, can only say I have never seen a worse tiling jobs in the bathrooms, needless to say he was fired on the spot. We hired another contractor that was licensed and bonded and this was checked out thoroughly. The problem with this contractor is he is terrible at the finish work, but we were unable to spend additional funds to hire another contractor that is better at finish work. So the home sold for less than the potential that it had. Please learn from out mistakes and make sure you vett your contractors, and the person you hire to monitor the contractor is not sugar coating things. See more

Here's some updates going on with Property Solutions by J&T. We continue to assist home owners are experiencing difficult times. We all have had upsets in life that can affect us personally or financially, so we try to help these individuals. We are working with our contractors in Texas to finish up our house there that does not want to be sold it seems like. We experienced a plumbing issue under the slab that requires a hole to be cut in the slab for the repair. Plumbers see dollar signs when this occurs and I have had quotes all the way from $2000 to $10,000. Just remember when having this work done it is permitted and the plumbers are vetted via reference and licenses. Sorry for the time away been busy working on projects and trying to catch up. We have our current rehab in Dallas in escrow, and are tweaking our business a little to assist with streamlining and efficiency. But as always the people come first. The Briarcrest home located in Dallas, Tx is almost finished. The completion date is 6/15/2018. Here are a few pics to peak your interest.
