NEW YEAR'S DAY is JG's BIRTHDAY. Always a festive celebration New Year's Eve at the JGTROC on Camelback Clubhouse with JG asserting his birthday present was watching football all day in the Clubhouse TV room. Lotsa armchair quarterbacking and lively football pool started the New Year with Family and the many-many Casa & Casita Owner friends. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD & THANX for all the GREAT MEMORIES.

During the 18-year event over $4.5million was raised that allowed the Gardiner House to be built with a bedroom dedicated to my Mother Barbara Jane Seymour Gardiner 'decorated like mom would do' by my sisters Tricia and Tenise in "Loving Memory".

My BOSS Hardcover book arrived from Amazon today. This LIFE Story is told by his Grand Son, Charles Osborne, whom learned tennis from JG at the Beach & Tennis Club Courts. Boss is dedicated to Mary Morse Osborne Shaw (RIP) who passed recently living well into her 90's. Few know the JGTR Carmel Valley CA was originally owned by S.F.B. Morse. Having arrived in 1946, JG began Teaching English & History, as well as coaching Tennis and Football Teams. The Monterey High Toredores w...ere in last place in 1946, but under JG's stewardship the 1948 Football Team was UNDEFEATED. Sam was a 'sports nut' and this turn around impressed S.F.B. Morse, so he made an offer to JG he couldn't refuse to become Head Tennis Professional at Beach & Tennis Club in Pebble Beach. This was LIFE changing for JG being from Philadelphia & Barbara Jane Seymour Gardiner being from Topeka Kansas... THANX SAM from the Gardiner Family of myself, Johnny, Tricia and Tenise. Ur SERVE...
