Tea enthusiasts rejoice! The Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center (JFOODO) launched an e-commerce site for #Japanese #greentea on March 3, 2021 via Shopify. The launch provides a new opportunity for Japanese businesses to sell Japanese green tea to the U.S. market, and for American tea consumers to purchase authentic Japanese tea from reputable sources from the comfort of their own home. In the U.S., the green tea market is worth approximately 166.4 million USD, and... the value of Japanese green tea exported to the U.S. has nearly doubled in the past five years. Businesses will be able to place their products on the e-commerce site free of charge. Rakuten Global Trading USA, Inc. Ten years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake devastated Japan’s northeast.
