Monday, March 13 is the last day to turn in your money for "pennies for patients". Students who turn in pennies or any form of money will be entered into a raffle for prizes at our assembly. So go through your laundry we all know that's where all the money is! Since 1994, millions of dollars have been raised in pennies and other spare change by more than 10 million elementary, middle and high school students throughout the country. The funds, collected during a three-week period, benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

One more week to sell Butter Braids!!!! Orders are due Monday, March 20th!! If you have any questions please contact the school at 686-7703 ... This is a great fundraiser for us so please don't miss this opportunity to help our school.

Come to Chick-Fil-A , tonight Wednesday March 8 for Spirit night at 8430 Bond Road from 5:00-8:00pm. Part of the profits will go to Jessie Baker School. We hope to see you there!!!

We are celebrating National Read Across America Day tomorrow, Thursday March 2nd. To celebrate this we are asking students to wear their pajamas to school to help mark the occasion! Please don't send your child in slippers, only school approved shoes should be worn with the pajamas. Safety first!

It's a sad day for Jessie Baker but a happy day for teacher Michelle as tomorrow is her last day teaching at our school. Michelle has been a force at Baker for 15 years and will be greatly missed, and tomorrow she will officially be retired!! She is making the wonderful decision to stay home with her family. If you see her offer her the very best and give her your well wishes as she goes on her next journey in life. We will see her around campus as she has promised to visit us often.
