Have you been practicing your waves while on quarantine?? I’ve recently been in playing around with a different technique. It still involves a flat iron and I think it may be a little easier to master! Nows a great time to play around with styling your hair and try something new. I know it can seem like what’s the point we have nowhere to go. But lately I’ve been making an effort to get myself ready a few days a week. It literally makes me feel so much better especiall...y on harder days. Of course the rest of the days I’m giving my hair a break from the heat and letting my skin breathe. What are your quarantine rituals?? Not a question I ever thought I’d be asking, but here we are I have created some rituals that help me feel calm and bring me joy. ... Lights candles! I love the ambiance they provide. I usually don’t light them that often because I’m always on the go. Now as soon as I wake up and when I getting ready for bed on they go. Extra self care! Since we have all this time I have been doing lots of hair masks and face masks. I have a plethora of face products and I’m am finally getting to put them to use. Usually at bed time I to tired to fro a mask and opt for a face wipe instead. Also this @unite Blonda Oil is my newest obsession. I put it on my hair morning and night and it make my hair feel and smell so amazing! Music!!! I made a playlist on @Spotify called Chill and have be playing it on repeat in the mornings. It sets the tone for my day and just makes me feel good! What are you up to today? Some days being stuck at home isn’t too bad. I get to enjoy time with my kids, sleep in catch up on some work BTS work stuff. Plus I have plenty of time to fit in my new workout routine. Then some days are hard. I feel bored, the kids are bored and fighting over everything. I feel lazy and unmotivated. ... I have never been more enthusiastic about lived in hair as I am now Brooke was my last client before the SIP. She is actually my cousin @maggiegomeshair client. But she is on maternity leave so I was taking care of some of her clients. Now I guess we’re all on leave. I definitely miss being behind the chair. But some things are out of our control. So during this time off I am soaking up all the quality time with my kids. I’m making time for all the things I never had ...enough time for and focusing on the things I can control. Just over here wishing I bought stock in Clorox and toilet paper No but seriously I’m curious how are you dealing with all this craziness?? As far as getting sick I’m not too worried. I’m trying to continue to eat healthy and wash my hands. Which is nothing new, shocking I know. I also always keep my pantry pretty stocked and I do buy toilet paper in bulk.
