For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20(NASB) We can no longer think of our body as our own following our own selfish fancies, our carnal desires and our worldly lusts, for our body, soul and spirit belongs to the Lord. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.. for we are in-dwelt by the Spirit of God and our body belongs to Him (He created us and he purchased us with His own blood) . Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4 ( NIV ) God in heaven, I know that following you is the only way to righteousness. I pray to ask for humility. I also ask to have a consistent fear of the Lord, so that my mind and actions are sharp and focused. I pray that I become a humble servant of your kingdom. Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Colossians 3:14(NASB) Love cannot be taught or acquired through study - nor can it be worked up in our emotions or rooted in any romantic feelings. Godly love flows into our very being from the God of love Himself and that same love of Christ is poured out from us into the lives of others.. for His honour and glory.... My Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You that You loved the world so much that You sent Your Son to be the propitiation for my sin. I pray that in all things I too may put on godly love... and become a conduit of Your love flowing out to others in the bond of unity and peace - to Your honour and glory.. in Jesus name I pray, AMEN. I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalm 116:1-2 (NLT)... Understanding the Lord's love, presence, and nearness should lead us to serve him and to deepen our relationship with him. While we love God for many reasons, we want to express our love to him today especially for his personal concern for us. In a world where important people refuse to spend time with those "beneath" them, we are truly blessed with an incomparable God who listens to our every cry, recognizes our very own distinct voice, and tunes his ear to hear every one of our whispers.
