Inhaled Insulin Research Study in Children with Type 1 Diabetes There is an ongoing clinical study to test an investigational inhaled insulin in children with Type 1 diabetes. The study is investigating how a child’s body absorbs inhaled insulin to lower blood glucose. Children ages 4-12 years with Type 1 diabetes who have been using insulin for at least 1 year may be eligible to participate. Participants will use inhaled insulin to replace mealtime injectable insulin doses. The study lasts approximately 6-8 weeks and includes clinic visits and phone calls with study staff.
