Just a quick PSA, because I don't think I have seen this out there at all and it is something to keep in mind for all homeowner's or somebody that wants to be a homeowner. If you can make your mortgage payment or rent, please for your sake, make the payment. Do NOT go into forbearance unless it is your last resort. When this shutdown is all over, people are back to work and banks are back to wanting to lend - then rates should be very low. You will NOT be able to take adv...antage of those rates if you went into forbearance. The bank may have told you that it won't affect your credit score, but what they left out is that in order for a lender to sell your loan (which is what they do after you close on a loan - purchase or refi) they have to be able to prove that you have been on-time for the last 12-24 months. I am getting updates like this one from banks all across the board every day. If you can't make the payment and it is your last resort to keep your home, I get it. BUT if you can make the payment, isn't 15-30 years of a lower rate much better than a month or two off that you will eventually have to payback anyway??? Please let me know if I can help you with any questions!! See more

The dot plot shows where the 17 Fed members expect the Fed Funds rate to be over the next few years and in the longer run. Both Stocks and Bonds are reacting very positively to the Fed statement, where they set the table for a cut in July. Reach out to take advantage!
