Hi everybody! As some of you already know, I shut down my showroom in late September. It was a nice ride while it lasted but when your bigger clients go offshore it affects the bottom line and I had no choice but to close and go back into corporate life. I am currently looking for another corporate job as I was most recently with Gymboree but I was part of their mass layoff in January. Hi everyone! Some good information that may be helpful to local manufacturers. The rumors are true. There is a garment dyer in SF. Cut Loose does contract work for other companies! If you can't meet the minimum for custom knits out of L.A. maybe you should just buy some PFD goods or jobber goods from me and garment dye locally! Basic info: $6/lb, 1-2 week turn, MOQ 30 lbs Maximum load size 100-125 lbs They only use reactive dyes, so garments must be from natural or cellulos...ic fibers only. You can pick dye colors from a color palette on their website or for another $100 they can do your custom color. You must provide the color standard. Contact: William Wenham, production manager.
